On Thursday 19th January, BCF’s first Chefs’ Club Lunch of the year was held at The Cross, located in the historic town of Kenilworth in the heart of Warwickshire and housed in a Grade II listed 19th century inn. An award-winning pub, combining Michelin food in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, The Cross has held 3 Rosettes and a Michelin Star for six years and is owned and run by BCF Executive Vice-President Andreas Antona, together with his Michelin-starred restaurant, Simpsons in Birmingham.
Chef Director Adam Bennett and his team looked after us exceptionally well with a superb meal and equally excellent service.
After a Champagne reception on arrival at this very well attended event, the following menu was enjoyed by all, together with some excellent wines. During the Santé de Chef, President Peter Griffiths thanked Adam and the team, acknowledging the high standards set at The Cross.
