Woods Foodservice awarded B Corp certification

Woods Foodservice is now a certified B Corp, marking a major milestone in our journey as a responsible and purpose-driven business. 

B Corp certification is awarded to companies that meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

Woods Foodservice achieved a score of 90.6, placing us well above the required threshold of 80 points and reflects the strength of the company's long-term commitment to doing business the right way.

For Woods Foodservice, becoming a B Corp was not a single project, but the result of years of careful consideration, continuous improvement, and a shared belief that commercial success and positive impact should go hand in hand.

Led by Compliance Director, Felicidade Lopes, she said: "Achieving B Corp certification demonstrates that we are committed to operating responsibly and ethically, balancing commercial success with positive social and environmental impact. It confirms that sustainability, transparency, and accountability are embedded in how we do business."

The company added that the certification enables them to work closer with suppliers who share the same values.
