BCF launches Cheeseboard competition

The BCF has launched a brand-new competiton focusing on cheeseboards.


The competition is open to hotels and restaurants who offer a cheese selection, either served at 

the table or plated and served.

Entries will be judged on paper entries and photos initially, and all entrants will receive feedback from our judges.


The competition winner and runners up will be selected after a restaurant visit by cheeseboard judges and winners will be announced at BCF Awards Dinner in June 2026.


Winners will win Cheese Academy Diploma course and a Winners Trophy.


Second prize is a personal guide by Mary Quicke of her cheese dairy, while the third prize winner will receive a set of Boska Cheese Knives


All three will also receive one year membership to the BCF and an invitation to the BCF Awards Dinner.


Competition opens from 2 January 2026. Closing date is 31 March 2026.


There is an entry fee of £30 and can be paid online here.
