Representatives from across the hospitality industry gathered last month to celebrate the 65th anniversary of The Savoy Educational Trust, marking more than six decades of investment in education, training and career development within the sector.

Among those attending the milestone event was BCF President, Peter Griffiths. Peter joined colleagues, beneficiaries and industry partners in recognising the Trust’s long-standing contribution to hospitality.

The evening highlighted the collective efforts of organisations and individuals working to shape the future of the industry, creating a strong sense of collaboration and shared ambition throughout the celebration.

During the event, the Trust unveiled its refreshed identity, introducing a new look that reflects both its modern direction and its enduring commitment to supporting people pursuing long-term careers in hospitality.

Looking ahead, The Savoy Educational Trust outlined its Vision for 2030, with a continued focus on strengthening partnerships, developing skills and expanding opportunities for future generations entering the sector.

The occasion also saw Julia Sibley and Margaret Georgiou recognised as Honorary Patrons of the Trust in acknowledgement of their outstanding contribution to the hospitality industry.
