The board members of the Home Nations and their representatives met during the 41st WorldChefs Congress on 19 October at The Celtic Manor Resort.

The board which included members from the Scottish Chefs, Panel of Chefs Ireland, British Culinary Federation and The Culinary Association of Wales welcomed representatives from The Burnt Chef Project and Hospitality Action.

This provided the Home Nations with the perfect opportunity to present £2,000 to each of our nominated industry supporting organisations as a direct result of funds raised at the charity dinner where each country member of the Home Nations delivered a course reflecting their nation.

During the meeting the board received a brief overview of the essential work of Hospitality Action and The Burnt Chef Project and one of the key outcomes was for the board to consider how we might be able to continue to support their work at future Home Nations events.
