1948
2005

Peter Griffiths MBE becomes President 

2007

The Junior British Team won Silver medals at ScotHot in the Culinary Studio and Restaurant of Nations against eight other world teams at the WACS (World Association of Chefs’ Societies) Junior Culinary Grand Prix in 2007.

2009

Junior England National Culinary Team won 10 Bronze medals, 5 in the Restaurant of Nations and 5 in the Cold Buffet work, at the WACS Junior Culinary Grand Prix at ScotHot, March 2009, competing against 8 other world international teams, coming 4th overall in the Restaurant of Nations and 3rd overall in the Cold Buffet.

BCF sent a competitor to the WACS Global Chefs’ Challenge in Dublin, winning Silver medal, February 2009.

2011

Senior England National Culinary Team: Win Gold, Hospitality Show 2011.

Senior England National Culinary Team: Silver medal overall, World Culinary Olympics, Erfurt, Germany 2012.

England’s National Senior Team Gold Medal International Buffet Hotelympia 2016

England’s National Senior Team Silver medal, Best in Class Battle of the Dragon 2016

England’s National Senior team Gold Medal Restaurant of Nations and Bronze medal International Buffet Culinary Olympics Erfurt Germany 2016

England’s National Junior team Silver Medal Edible Buffet and Bronze Medal Restaurant of Nations Culinary Olympics Erfurt Germany 2016

2020

Junior team win a silver medal for the Restaurant of Nations and a diploma of excellence in the buffet.

Senior team win double silver medals resulting in England being placed 11th against 32 other countries. Chris Zammit’s stunning chocolate centrepiece on the edible buffet was placed a very credible 4th out of all the National Teams.

2024

England’s Senior Team win Double Silver Medals in the Restaurant of Nations and Edible Buffet and 1st Place for their Artistic Piece in the World Culinary Olympics Stuttgart.

England’s Junior Culinary Team won  Double Bronze Medals in Stuttgart.

Junior England National Culinary Team: Silver medal, World Junior Culinary Grand Prix, ScotHot, Glasgow March  2013.

The Junior British Team won 5 Silver and 5 Bronze medals at the World Culinary Olympics in Erfurt in 2008.

The Senior British Team achieved a total of 25 Silver medals at the World Culinary Olympics in Erfurt in 2008, across Restaurant of Nations and Cold Buffet.

​

BCF Young Chef of the Year competed in the Hans Bueschkens Junior Chef Challenge in the WACS Congress in Dubai, May 2008.

​

The Senior British Team won Silver in Chicago at the American Culinary Classic, Gold in Cyprus and Silver at Hotelympia, 2007-2008.

2022

England’s National Senior Team win  Gold in the Restaurant of Nations at the Culinary World Cup Luxembourg and Silver Medal in the Edible Buffet as well as  3rd Place in the World and Bronze Medal for their Artistic Piece.
